You do not need to be a member to participate. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Every other week we encourage members\, and those considering membership\, to join us on a zoom call with their favorite beverage. It is our time to unwind\, wrap up the week with friendly conversation\, and get to know other Professional Chapter Members. Topics for discussion include everything from code questions to office policies\, to architectural trends to which beverages we are partial to  – and everything in between. \n \n \n \n Topic: CODE is in the AirIndoor air quality\, ventilation\, and pressure dynamics dictate building performance\, occupant health\, and life safety. This week’s CODE Brew\nexplores how the International Codes (IBC\, IMC\, IECC) regulate air movement\, exhaust\, pressurization\, and filtration. From smoke control and indoor air quality (IAQ) to airtight building envelopes vs. outdoor air requirements\, this session dives into the friction points design professionals face when balancing\ncode compliance\, energy efficiency\, and occupant wellness. Participants will consider various parts of the CODE that can become conflicted like energy efficiency and occupant wellness. Participants\nwill discuss the benefits of both natural air systems versus mechanical systems. \nJoin us October 23rd at noon\, and let's discuss.
